KDP Assistant is a desktop application designed to help manage and analyze Amazon Ads campaigns associated with books published through Amazon KDP.
Amazon account access
KDP Assistant uses Amazon’s official Login with Amazon (LWA) authorization system and the Amazon Advertising API.
The application does not collect, request, or store your Amazon account password.
Authorization to access Amazon Advertising data is granted directly through Amazon using OAuth 2.0.
Data accessed
With your authorization, KDP Assistant may access Amazon Advertising information required to provide its features, including campaign information, advertising profiles, keywords, targeting information, budgets, and related advertising data.
Use of data
Amazon Advertising data is used solely to provide the functionality of KDP Assistant, including campaign management, analysis, reporting, and advertising optimization.
The application does not sell Amazon Advertising data or use it for unrelated advertising purposes.
Data storage
Application settings and data required for KDP Assistant functionality may be stored locally on the user’s device.
Authentication credentials and authorization tokens are used only to communicate with Amazon services as required by the application.
Third-party services
KDP Assistant communicates with Amazon services through the Amazon Advertising API and Login with Amazon.
Use of those services is also subject to Amazon’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
